Very quaint place. Rustic feel when one enters. Beautiful decor. Service with attention to making the customer very welcome and comfortable. Food very good, very tasty and well presented. Two storey restaurant, first floor easily accessible by wheelchair.

Regardless that the owner sometimes smokes inside the restaurant making it a terrible smell and uncomfortable atmosphere, the best is to sit on the opposite site and ground floor to avoid it. The food is perfect, service is pretty good. Worth having the espetada.

Everything I ate was great. I had the Bacalhau and a fish soup which was amazing. My wife had rice with sea food which was superb. As dessert we had a Madeira sweet and Maracuja Cheesecake, both were quite good. The service was always helpful and the recommendations on spot.

Smoking inside allowed but the traditional food is amazing!

A beautiful place. Good food, warm reception, and great staff. A showcase of Madeiran cuisine and culture tucked in remarkably in a busy mall. I definitely recommend you give them a visit.
